The Center of Innovation, Robotics and Applied Sciences in Neurosurgery (CIRAS) is part of the Department of Neurosurgery and Neurotechnology at the Eberhard-Karls University of Tuebingen, Germany, led by Dr. Georgios Naros. It is dedicated to patient-oriented research in neurosurgery.

DGNC - Annual Meeting of german neurosurgeons

After two years of COVID with online meetings, we now could meet face-to-face again at the Annual Meeting of the German Society of Neurosurgeons in Cologne. Therefore, our team presented the results of our studies in different sessions, e.g.:
- Impaired phase synchronisation of motor-evoked potentials reflects the degree of motor dysfunction in the lesioned human brain (G. Naros)
- Connectome-based disentangling of insular epilepsy networks from stereoelectroencephalographic (SEEG) leads (K Machetanz)
- Association of extent or resection on recurrence-free survival and functional outcome in vestibular schwannoma of the elderly (Age >65) (S. Wang)
